Mainly, I am mad about mysteries and Umbagollah mystifies me. Who knows what animals I will find, what people I won't see? Who knows what is under that rock or behind that sun? What makes Umbagollah that country that everyone has come to know and love as...uh...um...Umbagollah? These mysteries and many more need answers that my madness may provide. Ha ha ha!" Martin Madhopper Mux's house is tucked away in a grotto off the main road of Gum Gooloo Gum Jublet. The front of the house is shielded from passers-by by a mad net of winding plants. You have to duck and wiggle to make your way through to an almost spherical clearing where his front door stands. The door is red while the house is green with moss, lichen and years of plant stains. The red shines out with startling vigour in this temperate bubble. A visitor's first impression is of there being no house at all, only a door standing alone in a circle of plants.
